In 1977, when asked about his strategy on the Cold War, Ronald Reagan said: "My strategy is simple: we win, they lose." Reagan then proceeded to become one of the most successful U.S. presidents. Ah, and he also very much helped the collapse of the USSR, winning big time.

I think that Trump's first term was so erratic because he didn't know who he wanted to be. He is a businessman, you know? In business and finance circles it's common to have someone to look up to, whose style to adapt to your goals, etc.

It looks like now he knows. Trump wants to be 21st century's Reagan. With cunning, rich China instead of stupid, broke Soviet Union, AI Domination War instead of the Cold War, and Project Stargate instead of the "Star Wars" program. He wants to finish all other BS ASAP to zoom in on target.

Russia and Ukraine must end their war now, he doesn't care how. Israel must also end the war, but it should win because terrorists are bad. So here, take your bombs, but first get me the hostages. While you are at it, you may also bomb Iran, they are bad.

In Europe, he'll bully them into complying with his demands to be on the side of the U.S., at least for the most part. He gets that big bad XI holds them by their cojones, economically speaking, but U.S. consumer power is what's really holding them afloat.

Etc.

It's all still a bit childish, I must say, but I love the concept. After so many years of boring stupidity we get exhilarating adventure. Cool!
